Does anyone have Narcolepsy and an autoimmune disease?

I've read that it's believed Narcolepsy might be an autoimmune disease. I can't find much new information on it, but wondered if there was anyone out there that had narcolepsy and an autoimmune disease?

I have narcolepsy without cataplexy and have developed a connective tissue disease so I'm looking for others with a possible link, or at least other information to see how likely they are related. I saw information about the relation prior to my autoimmune disease diagnosis (MCTD). Just looking into it more. Thanks for the information and sharing your conditions with me!

Yeah, I've got narcolepsy and an immunoglobulin deficiency (IgG).

Narcolepsy is believed to be triggered by an autoimmune process that detroys a group of peptides known as hyocretin cells in hypothalamus. Once the damage occurs, it is permanent. Do a search for Stanford's Narcolepsy research. You will get the most up to date information.

I have narcolepsy w/ cataplexy, and I have been unofficially diagnosed with lupus. I say unofficially because the only lupus symptom I've had is arthritis, and I have been arthritis-free for several years now. The other indicator is that I have the antiphospholipid antibody, which is a lupus-related antibody. I also have IBS and acid reflux, and I've noticed that in narcolepsy message boards there are other PWN (ppl w/ narcolepsy) with these and other digestive conditions. I've even heard that IBS might be caused by the digestive system overreacting to normal stimuli, which sounds autoimmune-ish to me.
