Any autoimmune disease can occur to the body other than lupus and hiv virus?

Alright, maybe not hundreds, but autoimmune is a whole class of diseases, look it up. Here are a few examples:

Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (my personal favorite)
Addison's Disease
Ankylosing spondylitisis
Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome
Aplastic Anemia
Autoimmune hepatitis
Autoimmune Oophoritis
Coeliac Disease
Crohn's Disease
Diabetes Mellitus
Goodpasture's Syndrome
Graves' Disease
Guillain-Barre Syndrome
Hashimoto's Disease
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura
Kawasaki's Disease
Lupus erythematosus
Mutliple Sclerosis
Myasthenia Gravis
Oposclonus myoclonus syndrome
Optic neuritis
Ord's thyroiditis
Pemphigus
Pernicious Anemia
Primary biliary cirrhosis
Rheumatoid arthritis
Reiter's Syndrome
Sjogren's Syndrome
Takayashu's arteritis
Temporal arteritis
Warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia
Wegener's Granulomatosis

There are more than 80 types (not hundreds) of autoimmune diseases. Some examples are rheumatoid arthritis, Grave's disease, Hashimoto's thryoiditis and multiple sclerosis.

Run a search for "list of autoimmune diseases" or a variation of this and do your own research.

search google under this title...also,go to the rheumatological assn website.........good luck...........

well, if it is an autoimmune disease...obviously it can occur to the body. But some just kinda happen on their own (Wegener's Granulomatosis, Lupus etc..) and some you get from other people (HIV).

HIV IS NOT LUPUS. HIV is a virus that destroys the immune system. Lupus is an autoimmnue reaction of the body against itself. Lupus is the result of an overactive immune system. They are opposites.

There are over 80 autoimmune diseases, see the link below to find them all.
