CBC Test What Diseases Does it tell you you have? |
I wanted to know what does a CBC test tell you and could it tell you if you have H.I.V and other autoimmune diseases what diseases does it tell you you have. A CBC or Complete Blood Count will not tell you of any diseases you have. It tells if you have an infection by the elevated white blood cell count, it tells if you are anemic (low on blood) and it gives you a platelet count. Those are the basics of a CBC blood test. Testing for HIV or other autoimmune diseases require a different vial of blood and techniques in the lab. Hope this helps |
