My cavleir king charles has autoimmune disease help?????? |
My cavelier king charlies has autoimmune disease for the last 2 yrs. We have had her on prednison,azathioprine . Now because of low platelets we started her on atopica and pred. the last test came back that the red blood cells we down, And for 6 months they have been good. Now what do we do? autoimmune disease can be seriouse as in this case.there is some particles prodused by the body and attack the same body.you must continue on the medications but try to ask ur doctor about bone marrow transplant, it may be useful in this case ( although you may need to repeat the transplantation years later) |
