Could I have an autoimmune disease?

I had some blood drawn, my rheumatoid factor was only <9.3ANA was positive 160, my hemocrit, and red blood coount were LOW, my MPV was high, also the sgpt and sgot were 186, and 135, plus my TSH was 435. Do you think something is going on that might be similiar to lupus. HELP I am confused and dr is only treating my TSH level..

Your blood test values you report are impossible. I think you would be long since dead if your TSH was 435.

You need to go back to the doctor who did these tests, get the correct results, and have that doctor explain the results to you.

Firstly if your confused, then Id seek help from another Dr, get a second opinion, it cannot hurt.

You should understand everything your Dr tells you, and anything else about your health should be explained so that you understand it all.

Don't be afraid to ask, if he/she doesn't help, seek another Dr's advice.

You didn't say what your syptoms are. Seek out a rhuematoid doctor.

Your Ana is most likely positive due to you extremely highTsh. I would say that he is leaning towards Hoshemoto's Thyroiditis (spelling) which is an autoimmune disorder. If I were you I would contact a good rhematoligist and get further testing done.

Yes, It does sound like it I'm sorry to say. a positive ANA is for Lupus. The elevated Platelet count indicates Thrombocythemia.

Antiphospholipd Syndrome is also associated with both of these. http://www.hughes-syndrome.org/index.htm Sadly Autoimmune diseases seem to come in groups.
