I just had my thymus removed...?

It was really big and caused me to have chest pain and shortness of breathe. The doctor sent it to be biopsy'd and it came back benign. Now that I have had it removed am I gonna get some other disease? Is it a case of autoimmune disease now?

My doctor informed me that it was thymoma but not cancerous

No, removal of the thymus will not trigger auto-immune diseases. It usually has little effect on the immune system when performed later than childhood.
From what you tell us, it seems likely that you will be o.k. now.
