What causes painful soars on the tongue? Please no smart a** remarks.?

I don't know if I can edit the question I just asked.? But I forgot to mention, I also got screened for Lupus, and the results came back Positive, could it be part an autoimmune disease?I get soars on my tongue and on the inside of my cheeks. I Sometimes I will get the soars on both the inside cheeks and tongue at the same time and they will usually last for 2 weeks and start from being small then get big. Then they go away, and they come back, most usually they come back in a month.

Systemic Lupus (SLE) can and does manifest itself intraorally in the form of ulcerations, erythema (red lesions), and keratosis (thickened dermal layer, whitish in color). The vermilion border of the lip, the inner cheek, gums, and roof of the mouth are areas which are often affected. when having lupus it is a symptom

spicy food or candy or ketchup or too much sauce

I can heal autoimmune diseases! My mom had fybromyalgia, but is remission now. The solution is simple and all natural (that's why doctors don't know about it). The all natural mineral supplements are inexpensive, easy to take and have no negative side effects. oh, and I have a great one to help with the sores too!

email me for more info, Id love to help!

or hot food burns or perhaps cold sores and not to be a smart a** but have you been screened for std's because herpes is known to reoccur many times - you may want to ask your doctors opinion as soon as possible because if it is thrush or what not it may be a sign of more serious illnesses

IT SOUNDS LIKE IT COULD BE CANKER SOARS WHICH IS CAUSED BY TOO MUCH SALT OR SALTY FOODS, TRY LAYING OFF SALTY FRIES AND FOODS LIKE THAT, HOPE T WORKS

I know that Yogurt is so good for the immune system, especially the digestive tract. I also know that if you eat it everyday, you will not get cold sores (herpes 1 or 2), or yeast infections. I eat it for my tummy with probiotics. I make my own yogurt from milk without hormones & junk. You might want to try it to balance your immune system out, it sure would not hurt you. Good luck.
