Any connection with 20 nail dystrophy and Celiac Disease?

It seems that 20 nail dystrophy is tied to some autoimmune disorders...curious iuf anyone has ever heard of it in the case of an undiagnosed celiac.

I don't know of any connection between this particular nail disorder and celiac disease but I do know that the condition of my mom's nails improved greatly when she went gluten-free. For several years, my mom had really weak and peeling nails but they are almost back to normal since her celiac diagnosis and diet. I had a physician tell me that someone with one autoimmune disorder is more likely to get another. I know that has been true in my case. Interestingly enough, I saw that 20 nail dystrophy has been associated with lichen planus. I was diagnosed with lichen planus several years ago. I have been debating going to the dermatologist to see if that was a misdiagnosis. I was starting to think I might have dermatitis herpatiforms (skin version of celiac disease.) In many ways, the two "rashes" sound very similar.
