What is glutathione pleolyposome? Is it safe to use for a four year old autistic child?

I have a four year old autistic boy. I have read about glutathione pleolyposome in couple of web sites and they claim to be very useful for someone with autism. Is there anyone who have used it and it helped the autistic condition? I would like to learn more about it. Thank you.

Glutathione is a tripeptide produced by the liver. Glutathione pleolyposome is man-made. This is hype to get you to purchase it. Don't buy into it because you're looking for a quick fix. I also have an autistic son but I don't look to a charlatan's snake oil for a cure. None of these websites is medically based and the so-called evidence they give for the causes of autism are specious at best and laughable even for someone without an advanced degree in biochemistry.

I have used glutathione on my son for 7 months, and it works.
After using 1 tsp. of glutathione pleolyposome for 1 month in combination with aloe vera powder, my son started to speak again. His teacher and speech therapist were so shocked!! They had never seen a non-verbal child start to speak after only 1 month of therapy in school. I continued to add other supplements from Kirkman's Laboratory and my son can now speak some simple sentences. However, I found a better gluthione formula from Autism Coach called Lipoceutical Glutathione. This one does not contain sodium benzoate. My Dan Dr. (autism specialist) says its okay to use this. Dr. Jill St. James research says autistic children are significantly deficient in gluthathion and this contributes to autistic symptoms. Glutathione also comes in a lotion from Kirkman's Laboratory. I use both to keep my son's glutathione levels up. Glutathione is needed by the body to bind and remove toxins==its an antioxidant. If your child's becomes hyperactive, reduce the dose. I also recommend adding DMG- dimethylglycine, this helps the immune system and has caused about 50% of the kids to start speaking again. Please look up the Autism Research Institute, which has tons of information about how to treat autism biomedically. Parents have answered a survey about which supplements and medications have helped their autistic child. Unfortunately, some parents don't believe that their children's body can be restored to normal by using supplements. You can do all the behavior, speech, and occupational therapy but unless the underlying medical problems are corrected, your child is still sick. Autistic children are deficient in so many vitamins, minerals, digestive enzymes, etc. that supplementation is neccessary. I laugh at parents that say that their ASD child eats a balance diet and doesn't need supplements. ASD kids are also deficient in digestive enzymes to break the food down sufficently for the body is use. If they lack the mechanism to get the nutrients into the cells or make the enzymes problems will happen. This is one of the reasons why extra vitamins and minerals are needed. Their body simply cannot get enough nutrients into the cells. Autism is complex body dysfunction. Please look into supplements to help your son restore his body back to normal. I have seen such a tremendous improvement in my son through diet and therapy. Speech and behavior therapy alone are NOT enough. Good Luck

I too am trying to find out more about this product for my 6yr old autistic son. I think that it is important to look at all therepys available to help our kids do the best they can. I have been to a lot of seminars on Autism that have really encouraged the use of vitamins and supplements to help our kids. I have found that when i am lucky enough to get my son to take a supplement his behaviour and ability to learn is always improved. As long as this product is safe then what is the harm in buying 1 btl and seeing if there is an improvement. It is obvious that there are alot of alternative therapys available that help with a whole host of conditions. Why not Autism. Thankyou for the useful information i have gotten from this question. Thanks mumwhonos for sharing your experience and information that you have accessed. Its so important that we help each other.Good luck
