Should I rule out only certain vaccinations for my 2 mo. old son? |
I have a 4 yr. old son diagnosed with Austism a yr. and a half ago. My second son is just 2 mo. old and is due for shots already. I'm against giving him these vaccinations because of the mercury present & thimerosal. Everything I have read and heard out there leads me to believe that this is a factor in the rising cases of Autism occuring. How can I defend my reasons of why I choose not to vaccinate my 2nd son. to my Dr.? Is there anyone out there in the same situation? Also, my husband is Active duty Air force. Vaccinations are an absolute necessity to keep children healthy. Your assumption that autism was caused by your son's vaccines is misguided; autism actually indicates a direct genetic link http://health.yahoo.com/topic/nervous/ov... health risks of common everyday PREVENTABLE diseases such as polio are far greater than the the theoretical threat of vaccine-related autism. Talk to your doctor and see if there is something else you can do. Your son will not be aloud in any school, because of this. Read the book "Healing the New Childhood Epidemics" by Kenneth Bock. M.D.. He gives a safe schedule for vaccinations. Also, consider removing artificial colors, flavors and preservatives from your four-year-old's diet (look for the Feingold Program on the web). Don't get the shots if you don't want your child to have them. You are their protector. For what it's worth I agree with you and no dangerous worthless vaccinations will be given to my kids. Nothing in post 2 or 3 is worth reading. they are fear mongers. You can get an religious exemption and your child can attend school. google home schooling and you will get accurate inf on that. Some vaccinations may have Merritt but the current recommendations are not good for children. Go to the website Generation Rescue for additional inf. God Bless You have every right to not vaccinate your child. And, you should be able to just tell your doc that you intend to not vaccinate right now. Autism is related to mercury toxicity - read Evidence of Harm, also see http://www.evidenceofharm.com `You don't have to vaccinate your child. Get a religious or medical exemption from the state. I have a 5 yr old with regressive autism. I am also starting biomedical intervention. We found evidence of mercury toxicity, immune dysfunction, and gastrointestinal harm. There is still mercury in the vaccines, they just extract out the themerisol. The mercury in the themerisol binds to the animal proteins found in the vaccine and stay there. There is no way for that much mercury to have gotten into my son Except for the vaccines. I am currently researching the lots of the vaccines given to my son to find the source. It would be better to wait until the child is 2 (recommended by my dr.) before vaccinating since you have a child with autism , especially since you have a son. Boys are very susceptible to getting autism more than girls. Try to give single vaccines (monovalent) and space them apart if you decide to vaccinate. I am also very tired of hearing people say that vaccines are safe. If it was your child that got harmed, slightly or severely we would not be having this conversation. I believe that vaccines triggered my son's autism. Just because you have the genes doesn't mean you will get the disease--- there is a trigger. Example breast cancer== many women with the gene do not get breast cancer. People should read before making such ignorant statements. If vaccines were so safe, there would be no vaccine injury fund.. There are also kids who do not develop immunity after being vaccinated. The safest thing to do is to make sure your child is in good health-- check vitamins/mineral/amino acid levels, thryroid function, immune function, etc. There are documented cases where a vitamin A defiency caused a severe vaccination reaction.. Don't let anyone talk you into getting the shots if you really don't want to. 2 months old is way to young to be giving shots especially since the immune system is particularly vulnernable at this tender age. Good luck. |
