Vaccines have caused behavior changes in young children, what treatment will reverse these behaviorial changes

Vaccines are contaminated with mercury, heavy metals and other contaminates. This is a cause for the increase in the numbers of children with autism. Chealation therapy in conjunction with various supplements has been suggested. Can anyone be more specific and provide details? How much chealation? IV or oral? How much? What supplements?

Actually, there is no evidence for the assertions you have made as the background for your question. It is certainly true that some vaccines have contained mercury compounds and that mercury, in some forms, is poisonous and a serious neuro- and development toxin. Minamata disease (of most in a village in Japan and caused by idustrial pollution) is a particularly horrid example. As were, in real life, the mad hatters of legend; none o fhtem were as amusuing as lewis Carroll's. And mercury is certainly a heavy metal. But not all heavy metal exposure is dangerous. Chromium, for instance, is a dangerous poison in sone ionic forms, but is a required human micro-nutrient (though not well understood) in other ionic forms. Completely different chemistry for these ions, and so completely different toxicity profiles.

The question of whether vaccines (or 'contaminants' therein) cause behavoral problems in children or others is one which is not obvious, nor easily answered. In fact, it is not (with very rare exceptions) answerable at all for individual kids, for no one understands any individual's biochemistry well enough to trace such interactions, and certainly not to predict them. Ouyr ignorance on many matters is still immense.

First, it is certainly not true that every child administered a vaccine will become autistic or indeed have any clear behavioral problem at all. The allegation really is that some will, more than would have otherwise; it is this about which revolves all the dispute. And that's a statistical question and cannot be answered (or be even much informed) by anecdotal evidence. It can only be settled (and that not definitively since no study results are ever true for all circumstances) by sufficiently large prolonged studies, carefully planned and equally carefuly analyzed.

Years of vaccine administration are, in effect, a study (though unplanned) of what effects these vaccines have. It is clear that they do not cause increased vulnerability to assorted diseases; their use has coincided with a considerable decrease in the rates of such infectious diseases as typhus and typhoid. Whatever else vaccines might do, they don't cause these or even increases in them. Many of these have been scourges for humanity for thousands of years, and certainly all of history, and their control is a very great win. And that's in addition to the beneficial effects of the vaccines in defeating the diseases for which they are intended. Measles vaccine has greatly reduced sickness, damage (including nerve damage), and death from that disease, for instance. That it doesn't also cause tuberculosis or Lou Gehrig's disease, is nice, but is not what one would take that vaccine for. Just a minimum qualification for the vaccine.

But some studies are intended to investigate particular alleged connections. Such a study has been carried out with regard to the mercury form found in vaccines, and no statistical effect (causing autism) was been found. Perhaps the increase in autism is an artifact, caused by parental worry, or by better diagnostic awareness, or the effect of something else such as pollution from industry (there is a river in Alabama (US state) downstream from a chemical plant in which the sexual development of all fish of some species has been completely deranged. The cause, last I heard, had not been pinned down to a particular chemical, but if due to chemical releases from the plant, it must be due to very small levels of chemical, for the plant is within legal limits). We're speaking of parts per billion or thereabouts. Much of the lead in high test gasoline ended up in the air, for us all to breathe, and lead is (like some forms of mercury) a neurotoxin and a source of developmental distortion. There's an appalling book about the history of the Ethyl Corporation and its successors (the chief supplier of this additive) since the octane increasing effect of tetra-ethyl lead was discovered in the 20s. Perhaps the increase of autism and other problems (if present) are due to one or more of those. Distinguishing amongst these possible causes is extremely difficult.

Heavy metal poisoning is indeed an issue, it's just that any connection with vaccines is not yet known. Suspicion is insufficient. Chelation is an attempt to chemically bind with one or more of these heavy metal atoms (if they are in bindable form) and excrete them. This is a difficult thing to do, as the chemicals used must not themselves cause harm, and the chelated comples must be excretable. Not everyhting is.

And there are possible unanticipated effects. Iron is poisonous in large enough quantities, causing hemochromotosis. You may have noticed the labels on children's vitamins warning that they should be kept from children; one of the reasons is iron overload. It's one of the most common causes of poisoning in children. This is the disease which killed FRD's right hand man, Harry Hopkins, and an inherited version of it is the single most common genetic disease in those of Northern European descent. If the chelation chemicals used also sweep up iron (a heavy metal), and deposit it in assorted tissues, you may have increased your chances of tissue damage due to iron deposition where it's shouldn't be. There is, in fact, little treatment for hemochromotosis beyond early stages.

Well, considering nothing you've said has any medical proof behind it and instead is of the conspiracy theory mentality, you should probably also know that this chelation therapy has never been proven to help anyone for anything and can be dangerous.

1. no behavior changes have ever been reported after vaccination 2. behavior changes in children is very often a serious indication of disease, organic, functional or phsycological (loss of appetite, irritability, depressive attitude etc) 3. the pediatrics medical doctor has the first and the last word on it 4.DO NOT experiment on kids...do not use unidentified, unclassified, non-pharmaceutical,non FDA approved medication

This nonsense has been floating around the web for years now, and it is still nonsense. Vaccines are not "contaminated" with mercury or any other substances. Vaccination is NOT the cause of autism.

There is also no such thing as "chelation" that's capable of removing mercury from the system. Of course, there are people who'll insist that the opposite is true. They're the ones with a financial interest in making a fool of you and taking your money.

Of course, if you WANT to throw your money away, throw some of it my way!

Medicines that are used to chelate don't work very well, are expensive, and have some nasty side effects.

IP6 Rice Bran Extract is a natural chelator of heavy metals, including mercury, iron, cadmium, etc. It works and does not have any side effects.

I have no idea whether it will reverse damage already done in children. Before you put a child on IP6 you should contact the guy that runs this site and be sure it is ok at that age.

Go to www.knowledgeofhealth.com and look in his archives for information and you will also see his e-mail address to ask about age specific info.

IP6 can be purchased from a few different companies but it all made by the same Japanese company. I buy from Purity Products.
