How we can cure a mentally not developed child? |
a boy 5 years old , not developing mentally properly, some signs of autism, can not communicate, can not understand everything.if you say to him how are you , instead answering he will repeat the question. see a neurologist and get a pet scan, ecg and an mri to determine the extent of damage and how it can be treated. Lots of Love and Lots of Support take him to a school for mentally challenged children. He'll be able to learn with kids who have the same problems, therfore no one will laugh at him. or take him to a specialist. we are all born with different weaknesses but I believe that it is possible to improve on them. your child probably needs more time than others to figure out how language works. If you honestly think there is a cure for a mentally disabled child. you better give up now. There is no cure. A loving, caring parent will help the child grow and develop to his/her full potential, realizing that he/she will never be at the same level as a normal (I use the term losely) child. Autistic children can be very intelligent, but unable to communicate to those of substandard intelligence(like you). You cannot cure him. What you can do is understand and support him and for that you need professional help ( special school). At these schools the teachers are trained to cope with mentally challenged children and to educate them to the best of the child's ability. First, you can't "cure" him, but you CAN love, support and accept him, and send him to schools that specialize in his needs. Good Luck. Sounds like autism, there is not a cure at present. Just remember he could be just as smart as anyone else inside himself, just not able to express himself like you or I. Check out ABE, Applied Behavioral E something, check out the autism sites. I have worked with kids with autism for years and some of them are communicating wonderfully now. It takes a lot of time and understanding. Good Luck, don't give up on him, just love him the way he is and try to help him communicate. My Daughter ( 2 years old ) is " mentally challenged as well .... one of my first questions was also How do We cure her ... after living with this problem now for a wile i have learned that it can never be Cured .. but it can be accepted and dealt with .. First thing .. wile it could be Autism as You have said it may also be several other conditions ... not knowing the details of the condition i cant say with complete authority .. but You may want to have the child's hearing tested .. it is possible that the boy may not be hearing you correctly .. if this is the case many devices are now readily available to help correct this ( IE... hearing aids and implants) .. next i would suggest going on-line and looking up programs in Your home town ... ( My daughter is in 2 such programs here called Preferred Pediatrics and Sooner start ) the programs are often paid for by insurance or Medicaid/Medicare ... they provide several services for the disabled child such as in home therapy .. braces ... in home nursing care and many others ... I wish You well in Your search for care for this child .. Love and Tenderness are always the best cure in these situations ... also never make the child Ashamed of their differences ... Even Challenged Children are still Children bring him to see a doctor, asap. Sure he will improve, By the help of doctors and the Grace of God will make your son well. Hi there, These children are highly sensitive than that of a normal being.Only love and ur companion can solve the problem. It takes time but your long term patience can gives a new life to this child. well its hard but u must send him to a special school.i dont think theres a cure for autism especially if congenital.he needs loads of love and care for the rest of his natural life.u can do it. |
