How old should a child be when they stop sleeing in a toddler bed?

my son is 4 and has autism my daughter is almost 6 and starts kindergarten this year.

I think as long as the child fits in a toddler bed, let them stay in it! I bet you have your hands full! Good Luck!

If they are comfortable and sleep well, I would leave them in the toddler bed. Sometimes it can be hard to move kids to a "big boy/girl bed" because it's different. I'd let them make the choice. Maybe if you've got room, put both beds in there and let them choose.

When they are physically too big to fit in it. How does one get a child to slee anyway?

I think 4 years old because they are no longer toddlers when they turn 5. Maybe it will make them feel like they are growing up into bigger kids stuff and not make them feel like babies.

Well, my guess would be when their feet and butt's are hanging over the sides, That would be my first clue.
