My son receives ssi currently now my daughter has been classified disabled, how much could she receive in ssi?

she has a learning disability it runs in our family.i cannot work because my youngest has autism and he has therapy everyday now my daughter has to go to speech and behavioral therapy

i live in texas and have been reluctant to apply due to all the changes that have been happening to us.we have moved 3 times and my son does not receive the max amount so im pretty worried about applying again i have lived alone every move but ssi has yet to implement changes

It depends on the state since SSI is offered by the state and not the same as social security.

SSI is low income assistance for the disabled and runs on the same fundamental rules as welfare and cash assistance programs. Your benefit amount with SSI may go up slightly
and the child would receive medical insurance but they still take into account your entire families Salary , mortgage or rent, utilities and medical expenses when figuring this amount. So there is no hard answer until you speak directly with a social worker at your social services department.
It is up to you to apply for this on your own, being approved for Social security does not mean you are automatically enrolled in the SSI program.

Social Security for children
In most states Ive been in the first 2 children receive the same amount and then every child after that would receive half up to the maximum amount the parent or guardian receives if he or she is disabled or were to become disabled

So if you receive or would receive $1500 and had 8 children with disabilities the maximum would still be $1500 but that's where SSI steps in because of the fact that your family would then be disabled and in poverty.

It depends I think the maximum depends on state i think but about 600 a month depending on total house hold income.

dont exspect over, 500.00, a month

Learning disability running in the family?

Stop breeding.
