I want only parents or family to autistic children to answer this please?

Do you believe that you'r child's autism was caused from mercury poisoning from the vaccines?
My daughter has severe range that I believe 100% was caused from the vaccines, I have heard that there is a new mercury detock that is working if any one knows how to get this started I would really love to try it.

Here's how I answered a previous question from somebody seeking a DAN! doctor. They routinely practice chelation which I believe you are asking about.

" I do hope you are not thinking about chelation. If you are, I would advise you to do some objective research on it for the treatment of autism. There is no scientific evidence of chelation being an effective treatment for autism that has been peer reviewed within the medical establishment which tells me these guys are all hucksters preying on parents desperation. To the contrary, there are a few cases of kids dying from chelation-very sad. Do not let your emotions get in the way-there is no "recovery from autism".
Autistics will develop on a different schedule than neurotypical people and will need help dealing with their world so services designed to address these issues like OT, and speech serve a realistic purpose for these people. Some people have comorbid conditions which may require a specialized diet. Subjecting them to questionable treatments in search for a cure is a dangerous road to travel. Helping the autistic person to fuction in the world and advocating for their acceptance is a more loving option IMHO. "

You say you are 100% convinced. I urge you to explore other possibilities before you decide. In scientific research, what gives weight and credibility to studies is typically whether or not it has been peer-reviewed and the consensus of such a review. You'll find that chelaion as a treatment for autism has no such consensus. In other words, nearly everyone involved in autism research thinks it is unproven, dangerous and downright quackery. The fringe few who advocate it stand to gain monetarily from vaccine litigation's success so there is bias there. Below are some links you may find interesting. Best of Luck to you.

You're Welcome. As new "miracle cures" emerge, always ask "WHERE'S THE SCIENCE?" In my experience in having autism in my life, objectivity is your best friend-what's sad is it often eludes the most well intentioned parents. Best Wishes. Report It

My child doesn't have autism, but I have a family member who does. Here's a link with different articles on reversal or other methods. Best wishes to you and your family!
