Atrial fibrillation catheter ablation is safe procedure?

Everything has a risk but it is probably better than walking around with a-fib. Make sure that you go to a very good hospital who specializes in cardiac procedures.

Yes it is my husband had it years a go back to work and healthy

i had also has a ablation but only a few days ago. my doc did inquire there were some risks, but for sure the benifits outweight the disadvantages. i work in a er and come incounter with both people who can live with a-fib and those who can not. depending if he was symptomatic. the ablation was the best way to go
