Foot soak for possible athlete's foot?

Ok a friend of mine wanted me to ask this since I have Y!A & they don't have a comp. lol. This may sound kinda gross & I apologize...but then again I've seen worse. Anyways, they have severely dry cracked feet but nothing seems to help (not even pumice stones & lots of lotion) & they read somewhere that it could also be athlete's foot (or something similar) that causes it too.

Does anyone know of any kind of foot soak they could use that could possibly help it? Both in-store or tried-and-true home remedy suggestions would be appreciated.

That's about the only alternative left cause they've tried pills, creams, etc but none seem to work either...and they're just plain messy anyway. Yuck.

Use empson salt and warm water. Also make sure they don't use any creams with a petroleum base to them (aks vaseline, mineral oils, baby oil) this makes that situation worse.
They can use an athlete foot spray, but that would be more between the toes, itchy.. stinging ??

Tea tree oil creams help.

I use products by Arbonne and it really helps my dry skin (and feet).. they make an herbal foot cream I put on after I soak them and wear socks.

Btw, where would you find Arbonne products?? I don't think I've ever seen them in my area.... Report It

well, other then the typical over the counter meds for Athletes foot -

Use a Salt Water Soak or a Baking Soda Soak - those kill those nasty little yeasties........
