Can athlete's foot by contracted from musty shoes? |
I wore my sneakers out in the rain and didn't try them properly. They ended up smelling musty. Since mould/mildew is a form of fungus, could they produce athlete's foot if I wore the sneakers? Although I wouldn't, let's say I wore them barefoot and my feet were sweating. I forgot to add....I let them dry out, and repeated sprayed them with Lysol (anti-fungus formula) and continued to let them dry out for many days. Will they be safe to wear? yes let them sit for while put powder in them when really dry alternate shoes |
