How Can I Prevent Athlete's Foot?

I just got a used pair of jordans that I bought from a friend, but I don't know if he as Athlete's Foot or not. So what can I put in the shoe to make them disinfective? Should I use disinfective spray? !HELP!

You can take a Kleenex and just wipe off some of the bacteria inside. Then let it sit for about 1-2 days, before you wear them. Then it should be good to wear. If you are even more cautious you can spray it with some air freshener and let it sit. Also clean your feet after wearing the shoes so no bacteria can come on your skin.

Try not to wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row, allowing the insides to dry completely. Spray the insides with Lysol Spray before you put them on.

get Tinactin spray and spray it in there to help pervent it and spray your feet just in case. if your feet sweat don't wear the shoes if you are relaxing take them off as soon as you can to let them dry out. Also do not wear sweaty socks that brings athlete's foot same with wearing shoes without socks and your feet are sweaty and you don't take the shoes off. so let your feet air out when you can.
