I think I have athlete's foot. What is the best way to get rid of it? Husband has it too.?

I guess I got it from my husband. It is mostly my left foot. On my left foot my sole is itching like crazy and it is cracked. On my right foot in between my toes are cracked. But I cannot stop itching my left foot! How can I make it go away? Also my husband needs to get his taken care of too.

Use some clotrimazole (canesten) cream on the feet....some hydrocortisone cream will help with the itching......disinfect the shower and bath area, wash socks in hot water, sweaty feet are sometimes the culprit as well, if so try not to get feet wet, and change socks often. Toss old shoes suspect of being infected.

Wash your hands frequently!!!!!!

Get some spray for it and then after you get out of the shower you need to spray it and try to give your feet as much air as possible. Dont keep them moist. And to prevent further athletes foot quit pissing in the shower

First off, no walking around barefoot in your house anymore thats how it spreads. Then you need to spray it with some stuff you can get @ wal-mart that I can't remember the name. It will go away over time and make sure that youre changing your socks after you do an athletic activity and your washing your feet EVERy night.

daktarin cream should clear athletes foot up with two or three applications a day for up until three weeks

Over the counter treatments work great. You must disenfect your shoes if you use tennis shoes, just trash them. After you get rid of it 3-5 days, start using foot powder on your feet all the time. Change socks twice a day.
