Do only athletic people get athlete's foot? I have athlete's foot, what is the fastest way to cure it? |
i hate it, it sucks, my feet burn like hell. and they have blisters and pilling skin, and cuts inbetwen my toes. i didn't take it to seriously till latly. Now its really bad, what should i do? Dude, its a fungus. Anyone who created a warm moist environment for athlete's foot fungus to grow can get it. Buy an anti-fungal cream to treat it. Mix vinegar and water and put it in a spray bottle and spray your feet with that. Go around barefoot or in sandals as often as you can. Make sure to dry your feet really well after you shower before putting them into socks and shoes. If you shower in a locker room, make sure you're wearing shower shoes, so you don't pick up any new funk. Nope, alot of ppl get it. Some are just prone to it. Id look at the grocery store, theyll have something thatll give you some relief. You can soak your feet in vinegar and water for a half hour. Dry and then use one of the creams for athlete's feet at the drug store. But you should really go to the foot doctor as they have pills that work faster. If your going to do it yourself, make sure you clean your feet everyday and apply the cream as directions say. No, athletic people aren't the only ones who get it. You can never really get rid of it, it's with you your whole life. It's just active and nonactive at times. If you keep your feet dry, change your socks and shoes if they are wet or sweaty, I find using Tinactin works well. Also I'd use foot powder in your shoes after you wear them, that helps too. Anyone is able to get it. What you are describing sounds like you are beyond the OTC treatments. There are some stronger versions by prescription that can make a difference. Clotrimazole is a good antifungal and in a preparation to moisturize the feet and take the sting away, it can be a good choice for you. You would need to apply it several times a day for about 2 weeks. |
