Please i am in agony?

I have bad itchy feet and i mean itchy as soon as i remove my socks i cannot stop is there a cure is it athlete's foot in between me toes front of me foot now as i am writing the itchy sensation wearing down what is it and how can i get rid of it. Please there must be some home remedies

Why don't you see if there's a late-night pharmacy open and go and get some advice?
Even a late supermarket - you can get powders and creams there.
You need a special anti-fungal cream, but you don't need a doctor's prescription for it. Take a pharmacist's advice.

Bicarbonate of soda in solution can help. Also anti-histamine. Tomorrow morning, first thing, get some anti fungal cream for athlete's foot off the chemist.

Go to the store and get yourself an over the counter spray or lotrimen cream Use as directed. Spray your shoes too.
Wash and dry your feet throughly and wear socks with your shoes!
Lysol your shower too.

Calendula talc - keeps sweaty feet dry and helps heal skin

If feet are prone to getting hot and sweaty in socks, change them regularly and when home just wear flip-flops so feet can breath.

Old remedy is to soak socks in vinegar and dry them, then wear for 2 hours daily before washing them and repeating process. No idea if this works though!

Eat diet low in sugars and yeast if this is a recurring problem.

There are also over-the-counter products you can buy at a chemist or your Dr. could prescribe you something.

you need some cream for athletes foot it can be very itchy and can get infected,use vinigar and hot water. it will soothe it for now.

Make sure you always dry your feet really good after showering. Baking soda is the only home remedy i know..also applying deodorant can keep them from sweating..good luck~

Yes of course there are some home remedies. First wash your feet ,dry them with a towel,use an ointment that you can get from the chemist's;spread it well all around and between your toes, you will surely feel better.At home use slippers that have an opening at the toes level;don't wear clogsand avoid wearing socks at home the more your toes are aired the better they are. Being an athlete, I get athletes foot often. Dead skin, raw cracks between the toes. Yechh!
The only thing that works for me is Canesten liquid. It's in a little (50ml?) red and white bottle. Tesco do it in a mini spray. Lots of chemists do it.
Creams don't work at all for me.

You need Daktarin Spray - not the cream as it's too moist. You'll be amazed at the quick relief!

Tinactin is the best thing on the market. It definitely sounds like a bad case of athletes foot. You'll need to medicate your feet to get rid of it as well as bleaching your tub and treating your shoes as well.

As for something you can do at home to help the only thing that comes to mind is powder or baking soda. I'd soak them in a nice hot solution of dish detergent and water before applying powder.

yes you have athletes foot, go to your local pharmacy and get some powder and cream, cant remember the name off hand but its very good, your chemist will know it, use the cream and powder together and you will be fine in no time at all. xx

soak your feet in apple cider vinegar. you can also try iced tea at room temp if you have foot odor.

Go to a store that has a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist for an over the counter medicine for foot problems. There are lots of them on the market that will help.

Try soaking your feet a few times a day in warm water and epsom salts for 15 or 20 minutes a time. It's worth a try. If not check with a dr. to get some relief. bettyk

you can a buy hydrocortisone cream or an anti-fungal cream at the pharmacy. they should work if it is just athlete's foot (it is fungal infection). In the future, when you wear socks, where white socks, because when your feet sweat the dye from colored socks may cause some irritation to your feet. After you shower, make sure you dry your feet well and make sure that the insides of your shoes are not the source of the fungus.
