My boyfriend's heels have been itching really bad for the past 2 days. It only happens at night.? |
He doesn't have any health problems. He is 28. He works in construction and surfs, though he hasn't been surfing recently because of the weather. He doesn't normally walk around barefoot and doens't go to a gymn. He thinks it's athlete's foot but I thought you got thought between your toes. There's no markings or anything on the part that itches. It just looks like his normal skin. Any ideas of what it could be? You can get athlete's foot anywhere on your feet. However if there is no indication it could be something else. Does he have any sort of callous on his foot? If so, have him soak his foot then use a pumice stone to pull off the skin. That can reduce itch. Otherwise, it may be that his skin is just too dry, so lotion and increasing water intake can help. |
