Help for Knees?


I was wondering if there were any exercises or anything to help this:
When i run my knees hit each other if my feet are strength
the same is true when i bend them. it hurts and is very hard to make them go straightly down. I need to fix this because i am an athlete and it is affecting my speed and it hurts.

I am unsure what the actual problem is but the following should be of some help.

You should first see your doctor and they may be able to diagnose your problem on the spot and recommend treatment etc.

If they are unsure or believe it requires a more specialised approach they will refer you to a podiatrist who may recommend Orthotics or a similar treatment.

They may also refer you to a sports specific doctor who may have had more experience with the issue. This is probably more likely the case, especially if you express your concern as an athlete. Seeing a sports specific specialist will be more beneficial as an athlete as they will be able to recommend the best treatment to fit in with your training and recovery so that you are still an effective athlete and can still pursue your sport.
