Atherosclerosis??

What happens to you when you get Astherosclerosis?
(All I know is that it's where fats are deposited on the lining of arteries).

Atherosclerosis is when the fats in your bloodstream combine with calcium and are deposited on the walls of your arteries. This can affect any part of your body that has arteries, which is all of it. It can cause heart disease, kidney failure, and gangrene in your feet and legs, just to name a few. I assume your doctor is treating you with medicine to lower your cholesterol and raise the level of good fats in your bloodstream, but you also need to cooperate by eating a low-fat diet and avoiding anything that will constrict your blood vessels, like smoking.

when it gets so bad you get angina or have a heart attack, to avoid it keep your saturated fat intake down and your cholesterol low
