My doctor had me do blood work and i am wondering what all they test for? |
it was ordered by my cardiologist and it was a CBC, Comp.Metabolic Panel, TSH, and T7 thyroid tests. to lupita below-just in the past week, i've gone through EKGs, nuclear stress test, Echo, and was told i have chronic heart disease, so i'm sure you can understand why asking my doctor if my blood work will show me my cholesterol tuesday was the last thing on my mind...it's a general question which is fine to ask on here...i'm not asking for a diagnosis from my symptoms..simply asking if anyone knows what those tests will show me...thanks so much for taking the time to be rude. Usually a cholesterol test will be labeled as such using the acronyms noted by the answerer above. ask your doctor For cholesterol tests, you could check again in the 'Complete Metabolic Panel' whether there's tests with acronyms like : |
