Hello everyone out ther, My question is......Does anybody know a good medication for cerebellar ataxia?

I been diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia, head injuries they (DRS) said they have give me many medications and none seem to work.
I have to use a walker and thats embarrissing, its been about 3 1/2 years and I still haven't got better.. I see the neurolgist twice a year for about 3 mintutes, I know I should go to a more professional Neurolist but the funds aren't allowing it, so if anybody out there have a similiar situation please tell me the medication, Cerebellar controls most all functions in your system, there has to be something out there that would at least help.

All I can give is hope. BF had botched brain surgery and has gone from needing someone to feed him, to back to collage and mechanic work. Took five years but he said the brain can eventually reroute some of the connections. Don't forget to enjoy what you can of the present, don't wait to have fun. Try to make the walker something people smile at when they see it. I've seen old fashioned bulb horns on walkers or racing stripes. It might help with the embarrasment. If people know it makes you uncomfortable then they start looking around like they're trying not to look and thats so hard to put up with for you. Make it a little funny and that will make them feel like it's ok to look at it and you . They will see you instead of just your walker. Hope this helps.

Talk to your doctor! What the hell?!?!? Do you honestly think we know better than your doctor?!??!

BEER!!!

ask your Dr. for Sinemet (Generic) Levadopa/Carbidopa

Homeopathy :-
Your conditions can be treated and cured but to do that you have to give me your details and symptoms exactly the way you feel from head to your toes in your own words including modalities of all sorts . I don't need the doctors diagnosis of your conditions I want you to explain it specifically and exactly the way you feel. Homeopathy treats the person not the disease or disorder so what the patient feels is the most important thing to consider when prescribing Homeopathic Medicines.
You will be cured with Homeopathic remedies without any side effects or complications of any sort.
Take care and God Bless you !

I think just your fine.... for you just maybe could you see a few more pros within what you can afford because each one-doctors-seems not at all the same. You will find one You will settle for. You do not need to make any more money. You know alot of smart young adults straight out of college or it could be an 80 year old-but I doubt that.
