I had astigmatism in both eyes. Now, I don't. Is that possible? |
I have had astigmatism in both eyes for years. It has been 5 years since I had an eye exam and I had one today. The eye doctor told me that my right eye doesn't have astigmatism anymore but my left eye still does. He said sometimes it can change as you get older and time goes on. That sounds odd to me. Is this possible? yes, astigmatism can change over time. It sure is. Happend to me at my last visit, which is good because now I don't have to have those expensive contacts. Anyways, especially if you are younger, your eyes change shape. This is the reason as you age (as in adult to elder) the eyesight usually gets worse. This is also why some people who wore glasses as kids don't even need them as adults. IDK I have astigmatism. Are you a younger person? Maybe it can change if you're like 25 or less. |
