I have astigmatism. Glasses make me more cross-eyed. What's going on? |
I have astigmatism. I just got new glasses and they seem to be making my astigmatism worse. Anyone else have this problem? Should I not wear them? You should have your glasses and eyes checked again. Astigmatism refers to abnormal shape/curvature of the eye, more specifically of the cornea or lens. The problem with your vision from astigmatism is due to the improper focus that is caused by the abnormal curvature. An astigmatism doesn't make you cross-eyed. If you are having any trouble with your new glasses you should definitely go back to were you got them and have the prescription checked. If that doesn't work go back to your optometrist and have him/her re-check you. go back to where you got them and tell em it's worse. I would definately go back to the opticians and let them know, they might have put the presciption in backwards or something like that yep, sounds like you need to wear contact lenses |
