Astigmatism contact lenses? |
I am currently wearing astigmatism toric lenses. I reordered the same brand for later use. I wear my old contact for about 4 to 5 months. When I changed to my new contact lenses, it became blurry, I can see clear sometimes because the lense rotate, but the perscriptions are the same also the brand. I am wondering is it because my eye is use to the old contact lenses and when I change it to new one it won't get use to it for a while. Or it just wont fit? can someone please tell me why? Thank you guys so much. You also may want to ask the optometrist - I have astigmatism and when I went in for new contacts 6 months after my last eye exam, I found out my eye had changed shape quite a bit, changing my prescription for the toric lense (my weights wouldn't hold in the right place). The blurriness has to be the weight swinging wrongly. Possibly wait and see if your eye does adjust? Is it too blurry to see? you should prabably go see a trained professional about that. it isn't safe to wear contacts that you can't see out of. so yeah, an eye doctor would be the best person to ask about this. Were you supposed to wear your old contact for 4-5 months? Did you sleep in it? When was your last eye exam? It's definitely possible that your prescription has changed. For a more definitive answer you should see your eye doctor. And remember to ALWAYS follow your doctor's instructions about how frequently to replace your contacts and how to care for them. |
