Contacts? Astigmatism?

Ok if I get some of those one time use contacts and I have astigmatism would it affect me in any way if I use them?

I have a lot of astigmatism. I used to wear toric lenses but my vision wasn't as sharp as it was with the gas permeable lenses. I went back to the gas perm lenses. It's more economical and the more you wear the gas perm it changes the shape of your eyes and your vision improves. But if you quit wearing them, it goes back to it's shape. 2D

If you asking if soft contacts will affect your sight in any way after wearing and removing them, then NO, that won't happen. If you're considering contacts for astigmatism, you will need contacts with toric correction. Be sure to ask your doctor about your options, as toric lenses can be a little harder to fit than spherical only correction contacts.

The effect will be mild or sereve depending on the amount of astigmatism. If ur astigmatism is below -0.75 then it should be a problem. But if it is higher than -0.75, then u will see double image. people with astigmatsim are best corrected by wearing toric lenses like Soflen Toric and Purevision Toric.
