What is the cause of recurrent eye pain?

Hi! Currently, I am nearsighted, has astigmatism, with a grade of
-100. I can see what's in my PC monitor without glasses on. I had conjunctival concretions in my right eye that were not visible since they are covered by my eyelid. My opthalmologist was thinking it might've been the cause of my eye pains, so I had them removed after Thanksgiving. It was a minor operation lasting only 30-45 minutes.

I have been putting mild artificial tears for like 6mos. or less in my eyes to alleviate the eye pains before/after the operation and up to now. The pain is manageable but it bothers me since it's on and off. It feels like something is stuck in my eyes. My eyes are not red even but clear. Is this serious or not? No sneers please. I would appreciate a helpful opinion. Any eye specialist in here in Answers?

I am posting this in case someone has a similar condition and he/she can look this up. Thanks.

I had pink eye like 6 months ago. Since then I had to use eye drops because i developed chronic dry eye! It was dry and hurt like hell all the time. I went to the eye doctor and he said that the infection had messed up the lining on my eyes and that the lubrication the tears provided was evaporating and my tear ducts could not keep up. I use these prescription drops and they are working wonders. My advice is to see another eye doc. I would not let anyone leave me in pain and tell me what "might" be the cause.m Your eyes are too important. Get a second opinion!!! Good luck!

to forget a practice that's healthy is common even if you repeat several time. Just be lawless and you never forget important thing Report It
