First glasses...? |
I just got glasses. I don't have a very strong prescription but I have astigmatism correction in the left lense and its making everything look slanted. Is there anyway to get over this? It makes me feel sick and dizzy. Thank you! If it is a light Rx and you are only wearing them on and off it will be harder to adjust to. Try putting them on first thing when you get up-that way your eye doens't have a chance to start working (let the lens work for it instead) If by mid-day it's still bothersome, call your doc. it usually takes 2 weeks to get used to new glasses, even if there not your first, if it is still a problem after that, then I would go back to the DR. I really don't think that should be happening. Give it a week and if it doesn't straighten out, you should go back to your eye doctor. On occasion an error is made with the lens are ground. It sounds as if the azis was ground wrong for your correction. Go back to your optician and have them read the prescription and compare it to what the doctor wrote. If it matches, you will need to see the doctor again to correct the mistake. |
