How much would color contacts cost? Just regular ones WITHOUT any eye problems.?

I want the highest oxygen so my eyes wont get all red, and one of my eyes has astigmatism. So where can we go from here? I just want a rough estimate for a 6 month or something, how much would it cost? No eye prescribtion, I just want them to look good :D

You HAVE to have a prescription to get contacts (even colored ones). This is because you have to be fitted for contacts, and that is part of your prescription. And, since you have astigmatism in one eye, you will need to to get contacts that will provide correction for that.

Depending on how bad your astigmatism is, you may need to get a toric lens. The colored contact lens I would suggest is FreshLook Colorblends Toric. These cost $53.96 per box at Wal-Mart. There are 6 lenses in a box so you can use one box for 6-8 weeks (depending on how long they feel comfortable in your eye.) So for 6 months, you would need 3-4 boxes (about $162-216). The problem with FreshLook Colorblends Toric lenses is that they are available in only negative powers (for near sighted people). So depending on whether you are near-sighted or not, you may need to get a more expensive lens.

As for your other eye, you could get FreshLook Colorblends UV. They come in the same colors as the toric lenses, but they cost only $29.96 per box. So, for a 3-4 box six-month supply that would cost around $90 -$120.

So for a six-month supply, you're looking at about $250-330.

Good luck!

oooh uhm the colored ones are expensive-ish and i think they last for a while

anywhere between $60-450 probably

You will need a contact lens prescription, even if you do not require vision correction. Some wearers disagree with this - but what they have to keep in mind is that you're essentially sticking a piece of plastic in your eye - make sure it is safe to do so first. Get a brand specific contact lens prescription. Your optometrist will try you in a brand of lens that he or she determines to be appropriate for your eyes.

To give you an idea of pricing on some popular lenses:

Freshlook Colorblends 6-pack: $27
Freshlook Colorblends Toric (for astigmatism) 6-pack: $49

These are generally worn for 2 weeks per lens. One 6-pack would last 3 months (for one eye) based on 2 week wear.

For example, if you end up getting lenses for astigmatism in one eye and regular lenses in the other, you'll be paying approximetely $76 for 3 months worth if you buy from a source with discount prices. This is based on two week wear per lens.
