Best monthly contacts?

Well, I'm on a free trial right now from my eye doctor.
But I was wondering...what brand is the best (if I decide to go with a different kind)?
I have astigmatism in my left eye for which I need toric lenses, but my right one is normal.

I'm not looking for colored lenses or anything, just monthly disposable soft lenses.

You may find you have to wear a toric lens in one eye, then, and a normal lens in the other.. For good monthly soft lenses for astigmatism i'd suggest:

Purevision Torics, by Bausch and Lomb: They are made of a material known as silicone hydrogel, which allows excellent oxygen permeation for your eyes, keeping them nice and healthy. They are alwo supposed to be good for dry eyes.

You could try the Acuvue Advance lenses for astigmatism, though these are 2 week lenses.

Proclear torics are supposed to be very comfortable, along with the frequency 55 toric lenses. There are also freshlook torics, and soflens 66's. Personally, i'd try one of the first two i've listed, as they will be the best for the health of your eyes. Proclears are meant to be very good for dry eyes, and people seem to rate the frequency 55's. I'd opt out of the soflens 66's personally, which, though they provide excellent vision, tend to not allow much oxygen to the eyes.

I have used Biometrics 55 for about 10 years now. I real like them. They don't fold up in your eye easily.

I have the same problem as you. I also have astigmastim in my left eye, and right eye is ok. I've been using Frequency 55 toric since april 07. I love them cause i only need to change them every month. I havent had any problems w/them.
