Couple of questions about contact lenses? |
Hi all, I am thinking about getting acuve advanced contacts for astigmatism: I've been wearing contact lenses for 19 years now. 1. 15 hours isn't too long. As long as they soak in a saline solution for about an hour or more to disinfect. Also, rest your eyes after that 15 hours. 1. It depends on whether you can stand them that long. Some people can wear them that long with no problems. It would be important that you remove them as soon as you get home though, to allow your corneas to relax and get more air for at least an hour before going to bed. If you start getting itchy or red eyes by 15 hours, then you will know it is too long for you. No, u can wear the lenses to sleep. Ur given information determines that u r suitable for silicone range of contacts. A few good ones r: Purevision, nite and day, o2 optix, biofinity. |
