Has anyone tried the contacts with distance in one eye and near vision in another? I think they're too blury. |
The Opt.(Dr.) said I'd get used to them. He said that people dont wear contacts because they give great vision, they wear them so that they dont have to wear glasses. What do think? He lied, twice at least, if you're reporting correctly. That's the best way to get headache... Unless your contacts are the wrong perscription or ripped, you're not going to get used to them. Contacts are for people who dont want glasses, but if it bothers you, it's NOT worth it. I stared wearing this type of contacts a few weeks ago and while they don't seem to be as clear as my glasses are, I am getting used to them. I also have to use bifocals which is why they give you two different lenses. My sister also wears this kind and has been for about a year and she says that she cannot tell the difference between the lenses and her glasses anymore. I have a similar prescription. I have a near-sighted eye and a far-sighted eye. I got used to my contacts after a week. If they are really blurry buy a new type of solution or get some eye drops because your contacts might be dry. Also make sure they are in the correct eye! I have had them in the wrong eyes many times. They might also be warped. Try a different contact. If they have been in old solution for to long, been in the air to long or haven't been cleaned properly your contacts may become warped and become blurry. I have had contacts for 2 years and I love them. So if you play sports or don't like glasses, I really recommend contacts. yes -but i prefer glasses. It is called mono-vision and it basically tricks the brain into seeing clearly. Remember, only one eye is seeing clearly at each focal distance so you don't get good binocular vision, like you do with glasses. For the convenience, some will tolerate it, but if you want nice clear vision, the only way is with bifocals. Another possible option would be to have distance contacts using readers over them as needed, but then you'll have to keep track of where you leave them. |
