Several quick questions about your body!!?

i seem to always be in pain somewhere in my body like my joints or muscles, is that normal, do you experience the same thing??

i never sleep through the night without waking up at least once, is that normal?

i always seem hungery but never gain weight, is that normal?

im almost always tired, is that normal??

im 17 years old with asthma and hayfever if it makes a difference!!

You sound fine. If you're really worried about something go see your doctor, but I'm the same way.

I get random aches and twinges in my body from time to time and the waking up at night can just come from growing up...

Always tired... it's not normal but generally people are always tired because they don't get enough of the nutrition they need. Try eating a balanced meal and taking daily vitamins.

I have the same problem with gaining weight but it's not a problem, it's just a fast metabolism. Be thankful, soon you'll get old and it will slow down and you'll gain weight...

If you've rapidly been losing weight than you might have a thyroid problem but if you've always had trouble gaining weight then most likely this isn't the case.

I know it might be better to have an overlying condition that can be solved with a quick pill for all those problems but.. be thankful you don't have real big medical problems! Just try to take care of your body and try to remember that we're fragile beings, we get little dips in our overall health that aren't necessarily life threatening all the time.

go see your gp, maybe a thyroid problem,

i usually wake up between 5 and 6 am. i go to the toilet and have a little drink of water and go back to sleep again. thats my body clock tho.

but i think YOU might have diabetes or something.

First thing I have to say is talk to your folks and your doctor. Muscle and joint pain can result from lots of things, one of them is lack of sleep. Not sleeping through the night and always being tried could be lots of things also, sleep apnea, depression, etc.

Really, go get a check up, then your doctor can give you all the RIGHT answers as opposed to all the opinions you'll get here...

sounds like a thyroid problem--have your doctor run a full thyroid work up on you, then go from there-------underactive/overactive thyroid is controlled with meds daily

I have most of the symptoms but don't have Hay fever,Asthma and I never get hungry.I am quite a few years older though but I know a few girls your age who have aches and pains, most of them go for physio for relief.I think more and more youngsters are having these problems now but I don't know why.Whatever the reason you will have to see your Doc to get to the bottom of it.

You are 17 so pains could be simple growing pains and your body growing all my children suffered this at your age.
Waking up in the night is normal for many.
Always hungry and none weight gain plus being tired could be a number of things like glandular fever you are at that age for this and could explain muscle pains too. Thoroid problems either to slow or to fast not gaining weight indicates to fast.
In saying all that you may just need a good check up at the doctors suffering from asthma your medication may have something to do with it too.
So go and have a well check up you are intitled to ask for a check up once a year.

you could be experiencing growing-pains,
yes i know they're the pits. stay active & they soon pass.
sleep is one of those luxuries that i grab when i can.
i too wake several times of a night, if i don't need to do something of earth-shattering importance in the morning, i will stay there until i get my 8 hours.
hungry but not gaining weight?
means you have a healthy appetite, no point in worrying about that unless you need to put on weight & it would be better to have a chat with a GP/MD/Doc about it.
always tired?
that goes back to are you getting at least 8 hours sleep a night, better get some more sleep, eh?

hay-fever/asthma, what do you take for it?
that's another chat with your doc,
could there be a better form of medication to control it, as some hay-fever medication can make you drowsy.
make an appointment with the Doc & ask him/her for a educated opinion.

your young metabolism allows you to eat and not gain weight perfectly normal, being tired is just a teenage thing lol, waking up is a routine thing, and pains in your joints and muscles i would put down to 'growing' pains, there all normal boy teenage symptoms, if your at all worried go to see your gp but they will prob assure you that everythings ok, so try not to worry.

answer to question 1 you are still growing so expect some joint or muscle pain unless very severe 2 its normal to wake a couple of times during the night unless your pains are what your waking up for 3 lots of young peoples metabolism works very efficiently so that you don't gain to much weight but as you get older this can change if you think you are eating excessively and should be gaining weight that's a different matter 4 some hay fever medication can make you feel tired speak to your GP about this and take a good look at your life style . anyway hope to of helped a bit but don't leave anything you are really concerned about see your doctor

I'm a 20yr old f an still get them pains so no wot Ur go in throe. go c u GP tho just 4 a check up
