Need help with my medical question?

I am currently experiencing the following issues w/ my health and looking for some advise. I do no have health ins.

My Bckgrnd: Im 28, have asthma, no kids. I have chronic sinus problems and loads of allergies.

For the last 2 months I have been coughing up [only when I first wake up] coloured muscus. I am taking vitamins/over-the-counter meds and organic teas. This week the muscus started to be tinged with blood. I feel fairly tired [I get 8 hrs sleep every night].

I have not recieved my period in 5 weeks. Ive taken a pregnancy test yesterday and it came back negative. My body has been cramping for 2/3 weeks and my period keeps feeling likes it going to come but it hasnt yet.

What are the chances I have pneumonia? I am going to a free womens clinic tomorrow to have a pap smear/std testing etc.

Any advice? Im afraid the emergency room is going to cost me hundreds of dollars that I dont have right now?!? Thanks

Well, though I can't make a worthwhile diagnosis over the internet, it certainly sounds like you may have an infection, whether it's more from your sinuses or your lungs is not something I can tell from here. You could have pneumonia, it's not impossible, but it's not a symptom set that makes me think that pneumonia is the most likely diagnosis.
If you can get to a doctor, then I would say that you don't have to go to the emergency room, what you have does not sound life-threatening over the short term (even though coughing up blood is not something you want to ignore, it can happen even with relatively benign conditions). I would definately see an outpatient doctor though, it is a definate possibility that antibiotics could help you.

whatever it is I dont think its pneumonia because I had it and experienced different symptoms from what u described

Get yourself back into shape. Listen carefully to the wisdom of your body-- your body knows what it must do for your body-- that sounds flakey, but it's the truth.

A Fast is one way of getting very closely connected with your own body. There are lots of good informational sites that will tell you about that.

High antioxidant NingXia Red juice (higher in antioxidants than any other functional juice you can buy) is a whole food that will help to build your immune system.

Think and read and do what you need to do for your own best health. Emotional Freedom Technique is an energy therapy that will help you get back in sync with your own energy system. All the best!

I don't know in which state you live but your symptoms seems serious enough to seek immediate medical help..most states have some organization that can be of help, Since you are going to a free clinic anyway ask advise there..do not ignore this.
I wish you the very best

Since you are going to a free woman's clinic tomorrow. Make sure you let them know all of your symptoms. they may be able to refer you to another free clinic that can help.
The one thing i have to say about health care costs...
how much is your life worth?
At the very least most Hospital emergency rooms will treat you regardless if you have any money or not (its the law) you will still be billed but can work out a payment plan with them.
Also if you do not have health insurance and make under a certain amount a year you can apply for assistance through your local county office. There are many programs available for low income people. Check with the medicaid office and also ask the clinic tomorrow what you might be eligible for and where to apply for it. Your health is important...you are important regardless of how much money you earn. take advantage of the programs they have...That's what they are there for.

Better visit a&e asap dear, this sounds such as pneomonia. Take care.
