Should I get my expanded duties cert?

I graduated from dental assisting already. I live in KY where they mostly hire E.D.D.A. so we can place fillings and do coronal polishing, etc. Would the salary be a lot higher? The class is 4 weeks and $1300. Thanks!

Yes.... definitely.!! In the long run you will be more experienced and it will able you to grow in a practice and earn more money. Also it is something that you will always have under your belt, and you can always take that with you no matter where you are.

Go for it. More money + more variety in what you can do at work.

Honestly, a DA with no expanded duties is more than anything cleanup person for the dentist.

I'm sure the class will pay for itself over the long run.
