I'm above the knee right leg due to MRSA infection during a knee replacment I am sorry you lost your leg........now i'm sort of scared b/c i may be having to have knee surgery and i DO have to have a total hip replacement???????????????? Sorry. Hope you are okay now. There was a man that I have known all my life. He is my dads age about 65 or so. He was in a farming accident and had his leg severed and they had to take the rest off at the hip. He was in high school at the time (around 18 years old) He has used a crutch as a leg he has had no problems. As far as I can tell it has not slowed him down one bit. But I didn't know him before he had the accident. |
