Amputees feel their phantom limb. Do you think circumcised people also feel their phantom foreskin?

I saw this documentary which explained the particular area in the brain that recieved signals from the had was taken over by the area for the face after the hand was amputated.
Now the man felt as if his phantom limb had been touched if a side of his face was touched.

The reason for phantom pain is that we actually "feel" with the brain, not the body part. This is a hard concept for people to grasp, but without a link to the brain, there is no "feeling". When a limb is removed the sensory area of the brain is still intact and every now and then the brain runs a self-diagnostic program to check the areas not stimulated recently are still working. Hence phantom pain in limbs that have been removed.
As the foreskin is generally removed at a very young age the sensory area associated with it is extremely small and is unlikely to produce phantom sensations. As a person who is circumcised I have never experienced phantom sensations from a missing foreskin.
As far as kidneys or appendix goes we are rarely aware of their functioning when they are there. This is all controlled by the autonomic nervous system and we generally only feel anything when there is major problems in the area. Even then most of the sensations come from the upset caused to surrounding tissues. So even if the brain ran a self diagnostic on missing kidneys or appendix we would probably not be aware of it.
Hope this helps.

its maybe possible
while foreskin is (atleast to me) one of the most sensitive parts of the body, it is also very small

I doubt it...you had to have known it was there in the first place...so unless you were circumcised as an adult, phantom pain would not occur.

lol! eeeewwww foreskin!!! lol!! no, I don't think so cause most men get cut when they are still babies.

I don't feel mine, but if I had it in a jar, I'd take it out and feel it every once in awhile I guess.

i dont feel mine
