Double amputee stumps won't heal still after 4yrs.? |
I am a diabetic and a double amputee my stumps still won't heal after 4yrs MD can't help anymore. Any suggestions I would go to the nearest teaching hospital. Preferably one that does research. Do you have a wound care clinic at any of the hospitals where you are? They specialize in this. All Infectious Disease physicians deal with this also. I would call your nearest hospital and tell them what you need and see if they can help. |

Who would want to be an amputee though? I mean, I just don't see the pleasure in losing a limb. But if people actually want to do it, I agree that it's best to make it as safe as possible... |
