Do leg amputee's wear out their shoes faster than non-leg amputee's? |
i was just wondering, i would think not but then my girlfriend said that leg amputee's don't have knees so they had to drag their legs. can any of you enlighten me? I would think that the amputees ambulate less in general despite the availability of prosthetic devices. secondly with the improved technology, the amputees that have above knee amputations, have prosthetic knees, those with below knee amputation ahve their own knees. |
