Anyone know what can cause a false positive on a drug test? The spit test kind...?

Can over the counter remedies or some energy drinks cause this? My friend tested positive for amphetamines, but does not do drugs!!! Any info appriciated!

sample contamination in the lab is another possible reason though, i don't think there are any over the counter things that croos react for amphetamines, tell him to see a doctor, good luck
