Medication??????

is there any medication i can get from my doctor/cyciatrist. that can supplement my amphetamine. i feel amphetamine keeps me normal, but i dont want t use it like i am, and the cost isnt good. so i was wondering if there is a subsutute that i could go on, and then be able t wean myself of it with medication that substitutes the amphetamine. thank you

i used to think my drug of choice - codeine laden painkillers 'made me normal' but the reality is i was physially addicated to them..andthats what happens when your body is addicted..you dont feel normal until you have the drug- it's the drugs way of trickin you into thinking u 'need' it -you only feel 'abnormal' when you dont have it cos your going into withdrawal.. so, to clarify -it doesnt make you normal..it makes you come out of withdrawal, cos youre addicted.
I am now on methadone, as i tried several other methods including cold turkey to get off painkillers..and methadone is good for me-
howevre i think amphet is different..where opoids are depressants, amphets are stimulants.
I know in rehab there were some girls on a drug -think it may have been subutex? Go to your GP...mine was excellent about my while situation, and tell them you know you cant do cold turkey ( i dont know how anyone can!)

You are abusing your medication or using street amphetamine...and you need to tell your Doctor what you've been doing! Drug treatment, my friend...good luck! KJL
