Local anasetic?

im due to have a tooth out later on today, but i have a addiction to amphetamine. im on amphetamine now and was wondering if the local anasetic will cause som sort of bad reaction. serios question,

GOOD NEWS: There is no interaction between LA and amphetamines.
BAD NEWS: However, amphetamines act to release norepinephrine from adrenergic nerve terminals, and LAs usually contain epinephrine, so the COMBINED effect may act to give you sympathomimetic reactions such as apprehension, tachycardia (fast heartbeats), sweating, and palpitations (pounding in the chest).
You should bring this up with your dentist and ask about using a plain anaesthetic. Unfortunately, this may not be possible in an extraction case because plain LAs do not last as long or give as a profound effect as LAs with epinephrine.

You need to discuss with your dentist which agent he intends to use. Here is a thought that may not have occurred to you, why not give up the amphetamines?
