Have you had any bad experiences with an amniocentesis?

I'm getting an amniocentesis done at 7:30am tomorrow and would like to know if anybody has experienced anything unusual afterwards.

I just had an amnio about a week and 1/2 ago. Only thing i had was a mild hint of a headache for a few days afterward. The doctor/midwife will go over possible after-effects of the test so you know what to watch for. Besides the mild headache, you could have possible mild cramping and a little tenderness at the needle/injection site. Good Luck!!
