Amniocentesis. Some advices please ...? |
I just had an amniocentesis on Tuesday morning (Jan22) and today, (Jan 23), i want to know if it's safe to: Yes, you can safely remove the bandage and have a shower. You can also lay on your side, and walk around or sit, as you prefer. It's probably best to still take things slow and quiet, but unless you really lead a really, really active life- your normal daily activities should be just fine. At this point you would be more concerned if you started to run a fever or notice any drainage of fluid vaginally. But you are past the point of major concern now. By all means, double check with your doctor, for confirmation. But as a rule, its the first 24 hours they are most concerned with. That all depends on what your doctor told you to do...I would wait until the office opens and call him or her to find out...just to be sure... i think you should be fine. when i had one done i was alright the next day and did all of these things without even thinking of them. |
