What happened to unidentified patients in coma? |
how do hospital manage unidentified patients in coma or with amnesia or in life support after a while? They are listed as "John Doe" "Jane Doe" "Baby Boy Doe" or "Baby girl Doe" until a definitive ID can be established. The Patient will be treated within the accepted standards of medicine. You cannot deny medical care based on inability to obtain ID In my opion they try therehardest to somehow identify them.If they can't identify them, hopefully do the best in taking care of them. |
